Across the land and seven seas,

My love of old waits for me.

To the clouds above, I pray to thee.

Bring me no song of misery.



In dreams I saw my love suffer in

devilish hell where Satan dwells.

Are you still safe from all spells?

I would even kill for news of well.



Long years passed but time froze.

My love of old, I have no more hope.

for you came in dreams with blood to drink.

To the moon above, I pray to thee,

Shroud me with your beams of pale.

While I sleep here forever lone.

Ah, this poem reminds me of my college days: trying to compose a sonnet was no easy feat.

I like the flow of sounds ans the rythm.

A small comment: some of the sentiments are a bit conventional.

Great effort, overall. Cheers.
